We are thrilled to announce that Greening Wymondham has won the Groups award in the 2023 Norfolk Biodiversity Awards run by the Norfolk Biodiversity Partnership.
Committee members and volunteers, Sue and Peter went along to Norwich Castle for the awards evening on Wednesday 21st June and were surprised and delighted to be able receive the award on behalf of Greening Wymondham.
The award - sponsored by Pensthorpe - recognises the achievements of groups working on biodiversity projects in their local community.
Local groups inspire people to recognise and care for their local biodiversity and bring people together to work with a common purpose. The judges were looking for achievements for the group, as well as for wildlife and habitats.
All of Greening Wymondham committee members and volunteers are overjoyed with the award and it will spur us on to continue with the work we do.
