BROWICK ROAD COMMUNITY ORCHARD VOLUNTEER SESSIONS
Greening Wymondham are very pleased to announce this exciting project opportunity.

We recently put together a proposal for a small community orchard on a partly neglected area of the Rec on the eastern side opposite Gunton Road that runs down to the edge of the Ayton Road car park. This was presented to Wymondham Town Council who have given permission for it.
​
The proposal details can be seen on our Community Orchard Project page, but in brief it is to plant a collection of local variety heritage fruit trees surrounded by wildflowers to improve the area. The idea is to create the orchard by the community for the community and to this end the work will be carried out by volunteers.

Sessions are usually every 2 weeks on a Saturday between 10am-12pm, meeting at the entrance to the Rec directly opposite the Gunton Road junction. Exact dates are available on our events page.
