Wymondham's Big Litter Pick

Were you aware that more than two million pieces of litter are dropped in the UK every day? The cost to the taxpayers for street cleaning is over £1 billion a year. As well as being unsightly, litter is a serious social, economic and environmental issue. It causes harm to communities and wildlife, yet it is entirely preventable.

All are welcome to attend, litter picking equipment will be supplied but bring a pair of gloves, refreshments will be available afterwards.
